Subcommittee 7A

Subcommittee 7A develops documents which are intended to provide the means for protecting personnel during set-up, normal operation, maintenance, and service of mobile industrial tub grinders and is applicable to the design, manufacture, maintenance, service, and operation of mobile industrial tub grinders used in processing of organic wastes. The Subcommittee is currently developing a proposal for a new standard covering this class of equipment (Z245.71).

The meetings of the ANSI Z245 Accredited Standards Committee and its Subcommittees are open to all members and others having a direct and material interest. The standards development and maintenance documents developed by these groups for active projects are listed below and are open for public review and comment.
