WASTEC Rated Equipment Guide

The Waste Equipment Technology Association (WASTEC) established the WASTEC Rated Equipment Guide for manufacturers of refuse handling equipment. This program is applicable to WASTEC members who manufacture stationary and self-contained compactors and/or vertical and horizontal balers. It establishes standard procedures to be followed when a manufacturer offers to certify that the dimensions, performance properties or characteristics of a compactor or baler conform to the procedures set forth in either the WASTEC Listing of Rated Stationary and Self-Contained Compactors or the WASTEC Listing of Rated Vertical and Horizontal Balers. A WASTEC Rating requires certification of the equipment data by an officer of the company applying for the listing.
