The world currently releases more than 36.57 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide. As of 2018, the United States was the second-largest emitter of carbon dioxide. Sadly, in North America, the average temperature rose by 1.19 degrees Celsius.
In the past years, government and private individuals are doing a lot to protect the environment. Spending on climate change sees a significant increase each year. Yet, there is still a large amount of carbon in the atmosphere.
